TIA CONNECT IS an online forum-driven community platform exclusively for TIA members. TIA Connect allows members to ask questions, share experiences and discuss strategy. This robust platform includes message boards, a member directory, direct member-to-member-only messaging, as well as the ability to share files and browse upcoming events. Members have the ability to join any number of the wide array of communities and network with other members as well as industry peers who share similar challenges and opportunities. The ability to connect, share, and discover new ideas has never been easier!
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic we saw a rapid uptake in the use of our online forums, webinars, and Lunch & Learn sessions. TIA Connect is another venue for TIA Members to dive deeper into the information, data, and the knowledge pool that is TIA Membership. This online community helps to bridge the gap between TIA events and learning sessions. From questions regarding double-brokering issues to searching for the best Transportation Management System (TMS) for your business, this platform allows for direct insight into all inquiries from industry peers.
Designed exclusively for TIA Members, TIA Connect is a great way to exchange ideas, ask questions, share resources, and build long-term relationships with industry professionals.
This intuitive platform is designed for people of all technical capabilities and offers a fun and easy way to grow your network and strengthen your business. TIA Connect offers a variety of customizable features to make your profile stand-out such as profile picture features, privacy settings, and custom signature blocks for all posts. The site itself is user-friendly, easily navigated, and TIA staff is always on stand-by to assist with any platform questions!
A recent addition to TIA Connect is the ability for members to earn badges based on level of participation and engagement with the platform. These badges allow other members to note engagement and participation on the platform often leading to more robust and in-depth conversations and interactions across communities.
With TIA Connect, members join or create online communities facilitating connections over topics, shared interests, operating lanes, demographics, and much more. Each community includes the ability to post discussions, share resources, and easily find others in the community.
All TIA members have been added to the Welcome Community. To access TIA Connect, use the same login credentials that you use for the TIA website. Once logged in, please review the community guidelines and etiquette pages as well as accept the terms and conditions of the platform.
As we look to the successful future of the platform, we encourage members to join as many communities as possible. The TIA Connect platform also includes all TIA Committees, so if you are interested in joining a TIA Committee try joining the TIA Connect Community first! We look forward to announcing new Communities as our members give us feedback on what they would like to see as well as the addition of the previously mentioned badges.
